I just realized that I’m being hella stupid
So remember how I was all like “I’m not going to apply for film scoring grad programs because I’d rather just do regular music composition because I want a broader knowledge and will have more options of what to do with my degree” and shit like that?
WELL THAT’S SUPER DUMB BECAUSE I WANT TO BE A FILM COMPOSER.
If I’m going to go for this, I have to go for it 100%. Not get a regular music composition degree so I can feel safe knowing I could be a professor.

These film scoring programs may have rejected me before, but I’ll do better this year. I’ll apply to more schools this time, I’ll write better essays, I’ll have a better portfolio, and I’ll have a better resume.

I refuse to let the fear of being rejected again prevent me from studying what I really want to study. And maybe applying for 8 programs instead of 3 will increase my chances of being accepted somewhere? Fingers crossed. <3
